Attitude Raceway Class Rules for 2015
Reasons for Rules at Attitude Raceway: As Attitude Raceway started out there racing program in 2010 the people that helped make this all possible, agreed to have rules established for each class. The reason for doing this was for one simple reason. To keep the racing as close as possible, at a minimal cost so everyone can come out and have a fun time in this laid back, family, friendly environment. Any rules in “bold” or “red” font, are rules that were either implemented in the middle of the 2014 season or are new rules for the 2015 season.
THE ORDER THE CLASSES ARE LISTED IN THE RULES WILL BE THE ORDER OF EVENTS TO START OUT THE 2015 SEASON
NO GYRO, DRIFT CAR ESC'S OR AVC'S ALLOWED IN ANY CLASS AT ATTITUDE RC RACEWAY!!!
AMATEUR CLASS
This was a brand new class for 2014 at Attitude RC Raceway. This class was designed for those that are new to the sport and just want to try it out, and get used to it. Go out there, have fun, and work on your set ups abd fundamentals of dirt oval rc racing. There is no age limit on this class, BUT, if you start to show progression and improve, dont be surprised if the Race Director moves you up to a regular class of racing. Haha Have fun and in this class.....EVERYONE IS A WINNER!!!

(2) Any electric rc vehicle is allowed that is NO bigger than 1/10th scale
(3) No metal bumpers or body parts are allowed
(4) Must have a gear cover on vehicle if gears are exposed
Sprint Car
This class will be added on a limited schedule in 2015! This class was added for the Sprint Car enthusiest who wanted to come out and try the progressive banked dirt oval! We are already looking for this to be a great hit in 2015!
(1) Any 13.5 Brushless Motor
(2) ESC must be in blinky sportsman mode, no timing advance
(
2) Any 6 cell or 2s Lipo
(3) No metal bumpers or body parts allowed
(4) Rubber buggy tire. (We are keeping the tire rule open for now. We hope that racers in this class will work together, try out different tires and then come up with a spec tire for the class in the 2nd half of the season, and from there on out.)
(5) Only DODC small top wing allowed. (6x6)
(6) Front wing is optional to run
(7) Must have scale appearing cage, hood, side panels, fuel cell, nerf bars and front and rear bumpers. All cage and body components such as cage, bumpers, nerf bars, hoods, side panels, tanks, etc. must be mounted on the centerline of the cage. Chassis may not extend outside of the side panels by more than 1/4" on either side. All electronics, radio gear, fuel tanks, transmissions and gears must be positioned inside the cage side frames.
STREET STOCK
The Street Stock class was a new class for the 2014 season! This class was developed to keep the competition as close as possible while keeping the cost of the vehicle at a minimum. This means anyone can go out and buy a used or new 2wd buggy, add a street stock body, do minimum changes to it and bring it out to Attitude RC Raceway and be competitive and most importantly have a ton of fun!
(1) Must be production 2wd buggy
(2) Must have functional gear box
(3) No direct drive style differentials
(4) Rear Motor Only
(5) Stock Buggy Suspension. Stock buggy style shocks and springs. Shock oil may be changed
(6) Stock shock mounting holes must be used
(7) Any Mcallister Street Stock Body. No decking
(8) Must have gear cover
(9) Any buggy style tire
(10) Stock RTR motor and ESC or 17.5 brushless motors.
(11) Spoiler no bigger than 1” and no wider than the body
SPORTSMAN 2WD SHORT COURSE TRUCK
This class was designed to keep it simple and cheap, but yet provide some fun and exciting Short Course Racing!!!
- Any 2WD Short Course Truck, chassis and suspension must remain stock, shocks must be stock, springs and oil may be changed
- Stock shock mounting holes must be used
- Team Associated SC10
- Losi XXX_SCT
- Losi 22sct ( rear motor only )
- Hpi Blitz
- Kyosho SCR (rear motor only )
- Venom Gambler (rear motor only )
- Traxxas Slash (stock chassis or Traxxas production lcg chassis)
- Must have any full fender Stock Short Course body or car body
- May use any of the following RTR 1/10th scale Short Course Truck Tires (no mixing, all 4 must be the same)

SHORT COURSE LATE MODEL
True dirt oval racing at an affordable price, this is one of our largest classes, join the fun and see why its so popular.
(1) Any 2WD Short Course Truck chassis

- Stock shock mounting holes must be used
- Stock factory toe blocks
- No adjustable a-arms
- No direct drive style differentials. Slipper Eliminators will be allowed
- Team Associated SC10
- Losi XXX_SCT
- Losi 22sct ( rear motor only )
- Hpi Blitz
- Kyosho SCR (rear motor only )
- Venom Gambler (rear motor only )
- Traxxas Slash (stock chassis, rustler lcg conversion or the new Traxxas Slash production LCG chassis)
(2) Must have one piece lexan short course late model body.
(3) Only Pro-Line Street Fighter Tires, Dynamite Robber tires, Duratrax bandito, and Louise Rocket tires allowed!!
(4) 13.5 brushless, or stock SC10 Reedy 3300kv setup
(5) Aftermarket ESC must be in “blinky” sportsman mode, no timing advance
(6) Any 6 cell or 2s Lipo

OPEN 4WD SHORT COURSE TRUCK
This class is more of an open class for 4wd Short Course Trucks, and is open to many options. This isn’t our biggest class at Attitude RC Raceway, but don’t be fooled by that, as the competition was very close in this class in 2014 and was a ton of fun to be a part in! We are now opening up the rules alittle more in 2015 for those open minded racers that like to go out and just have fun!
(1) Any 4WD Short Course Truck
(2) Must use a short course style shock
(3) Must have any full fender body
(4) Any 1/10th scale Short Course Tires
(5) Any 1/10th motor
(6) Open ESC
(7) Any 6 cell, 7 sell or 2s Lipo
(8) No metal bumpers or body parts allowed
(9) No man made suspension or chassis parts
(10) Lexan side dams will be allowed. The left side can be no bigger than 5” in height from the roof. Right side can be no bigger than 3” in height from the roof. Both can be mounted from the A-piller back. Use a 1” strip brace for mounting.
SHORT COURSE MODIFIED
IMCA – UMP type modified racing in a spec, scale appearing package. This was our biggest class in 2014 with close to 20 cars showing up each race day! Tight racing is what you will find in this exciting class.

- 17.5 brushless motors only
- ESC must be in blinky sportsman mode, no timing advance
- Any 6 cell or 2s Lipo
- No metal bumpers or body parts allowed

Sportsman Figure 8 Class
By popular demand, this is a new class added for 2015. In 2015 we will run this class 3 times throughout the year. (SCHEDULE TBA) The first two races will feature only one race at the end of the day. The last race day we will run a full race day, with two qualifying heats and mains. This was decided by the race director to try this class two different ways to see what people like most for the furture of this class! This class was created and designed to race. NOT BASH! We will be keeping track of points and a points champion will be recongnized at the end of the year! We look forward to some exciting racing action with this class in 2015!

ALL these class rules apply if you race at Attitude RC Raceway for at least 40% of the points races, or during a money race or trophy race. We never want to turn anyone down so if you want to come try us out, we will find a class for you!
